Care Assistant - Nights

We are looking for a dedicated Care Assistant to join a well-established care home in Sheffield, working 3 nights per week.

 

This care home has been providing exceptional care for the elderly in a tranquil, leafy setting since 1994 and is recognized for its commitment to person-centered care.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the residents by providing individualized care and support that meets their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

​

• Assisting with personal care tasks, including washing, bathing, grooming, and hygiene

• Supporting residents with nutrition and hydration

• Helping with mobility and ensuring residents’ safety

• Administering medication and ensuring accurate record-keeping

• Providing compassionate end-of-life care

• Assisting with dressing and undressing

• Communicating effectively with both residents and team members to deliver the best possible care

What You’ll Need:

​

• At least 1 year of experience working in a care home or similar environment

• Excellent communication skills and a caring, empathetic attitude

• A full enhanced DBS check (the cost of which will be covered)
